2023 Outlook

The Carolina Panthers had an eventful off-season in 2023 as they made several notable changes to their roster and coaching staff. The team was determined to address key areas of improvement and build a strong foundation for the upcoming season.

In terms of coaching, the Panthers hired a new head coach, Frank Reich, known for QB development. Reich's arrival brought a fresh perspective to the team and raised hopes among fans for an exciting and dynamic offense.

The team's most significant roster change came at the quarterback position. After a few tumultuous seasons at QB the team moved on from Sam Darnold and PJ Walker, and drafted a highly regarded rookie quarterback, Bryce Young with the first overall pick of the NFL Draft. The rookie signal-caller brings a strong arm, mobility, and an impressive college resume, generating excitement among fans and media alike.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, the Carolina Panthers have a renewed sense of optimism. With a new head coach, key additions on defense, and a promising young quarterback, the team has the potential to make significant strides. While challenges lie ahead, Carolina, who are +300 to win the NFC South, could challenge in a weak division that is not filled with too many difference-makers on either side of the ball. The Panthers are expected to showcase an improved offense and a more formidable defense. Fans eagerly await the start of the season, hopeful for a successful campaign and a potential playoff run.
