Monday Night Preview
New York Jets @ San Francisco 49ers
Line: SF -3.5
Over/Under: 43.5
QBs:
Brock Purdy (FantasyHolic’s expert ranked QB14 overall for the week)- Continues to impress and over-perform as a real life QB but faces one of the saltiest defenses in the land for fantasy purposes.
Aaron Rodgers (QB23)- Projected to be a slow pace offense and a tough matchup but will have some much better weeks ahead as he gets more comfortable.
RBs:
Christian McCaffrey (RB1)- Minimal concern for the fantasy GOAT even while being limited some at practice this week.
Breece Hall (RB5)- Set up for an absolute monster season but tempering expectations slightly just because of the top tier front 7 faced tonight.
Jordan Mason (RB51)- Secured the backup job and is now a top 5 fantasy handcuff with a decent shot at a touchdown weekly.
Braelon Allen (RB63)- A rookie coming off of a positive news only summer and has a load of potential if something happens to Breece.
WRs:
Garret Wilson (WR5)- Setting up for an exciting year as maybe the most physically gifted wideout ARod’s ever played with.
Deebo Samuel (WR16)- One of the most explosive and fun players to watch in NFL has only one deficiency: health.
Brandon Aiyuk (WR21)- Great real life football player that’s very boom/bust and may start slowly after a few weeks off from practice.
Mike Williams (WR64)- Needs to get fully healthy before trusting but a limitless touchdown ceiling with this QB and soft coverage across from Wilson.
TEs:
George Kittle (TE9)- Always a high ceiling and low floor but a must start no matter what given this position.
Tyler Conklin (TE19)- Exactly 87 targets for 3 straight years and now gets a yuge upgrade playing with a Hall or Fame QB for the first time in his career.
